Laboratory Studies

Production is made in conformance to TS EN 12467 standards and TS EN ISO 9001-2008 Quality Management Standards and width, length, thickness and surface smoothness of the wet sheets coming out of the machine tool are continuously controlled by Laboratory Supervisor and Quality Control Officer during the production.

FINAL PRODUCT STRENGTH ANALYSIS

Hekimboard sheets are sent to the laboratory after cutting in 25×25 cm dimensions in the dry cutting section. The samples sent to the laboratory are separated into three groups after dry crushing, wet crushing and drying oven.


DRY SHEET STRENGTH ANALYSIS

Without any processing, the sheet coming to the laboratory is subjected to crushing test in the strength test device after its width, length and thickness are measured and strength value is assessed. In the lab width, and length of the sample sheet is measured with calibrated meters. Then thickness is measured with the help of a caliper. The sheet conforming to the standards is placed in the device for strength test and crushing takes place. The results are recorded in computer environment and then analysis report is prepared.


WET SHEET STRENGTH TEST

The sheets coming to the lab are kept in the water bath for 24 hours and then width, length and thickness is calculated. Afterwards water absorption density is calculated and strength value on the strength test device is asessed.


STRENGTH TEST AFTER DRYING STOVE

The width, length and thickness of the sheets in the lab are calculated after they are kept in the drying oven under 105-110 degrees temperature. Strength value is found in the strength test under humidity, density and room conditions temperature.


CONTROL AND SHIPMENT FINAL PRODUCT

The sheets separated and palleted in the autoclave sorting section are sent to the shipment warehouse. Quality control officer writes the width, length, thickness, pallet height, quantity of the sheets as well as the faulty products by specifying production faults such as crack, corner, thickness, separation between layers, crossness, surface appearance and break on the last final product control form prepared for the sheets and this form is recorded on the computer environment and a printout of the form is taken. The printout form is signed by the quality control officer and submitted to Quality System Management. HEKIMBOARD sheets which passed from all controls are stored in the product warehouse to be shipped.
