Sixteen countries, including Turkey, participated in 12th BATIMATEC International Construction, Building Materials and Public Works exhibition.
Participation to the exhibition and attention of the visitors was high as in every year. Our natural fiber Cement Plates and Sidings were both exhibited in Hekim Yapı stand in the hall and also in the open space by our distributor in Algeria, as they were applied on steel building and containers.
Algeria has world’s 5th biggest natural gas reserves and is the largest natural gas supplier of EU.
Turkey has established a significant place in the foreign trade of Algeria within the last 5 years. There is about $50 million direct Turkish investment in Algeria and Turkish investments employ around 1100 workers.
